Squirrels provide After School Care for children aged 5 years to 11 years. Sessions run from 3:15pm to 6:00pm each evening during term time and collection from some local schools is available.

Children are given a light snack, such as a sandwich or toast, and a drink and then participate in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, taking into account the preferences of the children.

If the weather permits, outdoor activities are preferred.
These vary from day to day, but typical examples include:-

• Football
• Cricket
• Use of play park  

If the weather keeps us indoors, the children still have plenty of activities to choose from. There are both group and individual activities, which again vary from day to day, but include:-

• Snooker/Pool
• Board Games
• Indoor Football
• Role Play
• Art/Craft
• Reading
• Computer
• Game Boys
• Action Man/Barbie
• Construction kits  

Children have a say in what new equipment is purchased, which ensures that activities provided are the those which the children wish to see.
